A new Turkish kebab restaurant, Estambul, has opened in a prominent location in Plaza del Sol, Guadalajara’s first shopping mall, which marked its 50th anniversary last year.
The restaurant’s sign informs diners that Estambul serves “authentic Turkish cuisine,” notably “doner kebab and pizza turca,” and while the names of many of the dishes may be unfamiliar to anyone bar those acquainted with the cuisine of the European/Asian country, foodies probably need no introduction to the selections, which include some of the most popular Turkish staples.
