Masons kick in to kit out soccer team

The San Antonio Marineros soccer club would like to thank the Axixic Masons Lodge 31 for providing the team with three new sets of playing uniforms.

Masons representative Harry Bublin instigated the initiative and worked with the club to make sure it received what was needed, Marineros founder Barry Crocker told the Reporter.

“We have now reached four teams in the local league here,” Crocker said. “We have minis, pony, junior and juvenile, meaning that we will offer organized soccer from six-year-olds to 16-year-olds. When we reach the upper ages we hope to start producing teams for young men and adults.”
