Mexico in action Sunday

Soccer fans will be glued to their televisions as the World Cup unfolds in Russia over the next month. 

The tournament got underway Thursday, with hosts Russia trouncing lowly Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the inaugural game.  Mexico gets its show on the road Sunday, June 17 with a tough group game against holders Germany.  The game kicks off at 10 a.m., since Russia is eight hours ahead of Mexico.

Mexico’s subsequent group games are scheduled   Saturday, June 23 (10 a.m.) against South Korea and Wednesday, June 27 (9 a.m.) against Sweden.

All the games will be broadcast on free-to-air channels in Mexico.
