The National Professional Basketball League (LNBP) tips off its 2026 season this week, with the Astros de Jalisco setting their sights on their first championship in Mexico’s premier basketball circuit.

Fresh off winning their fourth CIBACOPA league crown in June, the Astros will begin their LNBP title campaign against Correcaminos UAT Victoria on Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28, at the Arena Astros in Guadalajara. Both games begin at 8:15 p.m.

The team will then host Lobos de Puebla for a weekend series on Friday, July 31 (8:15 p.m.), and Saturday, August 1 (6:15 p.m.).

The regular season for the 14-team competition runs through October 7.

The Arena Astros is located on Avenida Ávila Camacho, just two blocks from Plaza Patria. Tickets are available at boletomovil.com, and as of press time, a 2-for-1 promotion is being offered for the two opening games this week.
