The new space will display work by local artists and is expected to be ready for inauguration in a month’s time. The museum already houses permanent exhibits detailing the history of Jalisco and the building itself, while other rooms dedicated to the Mexican Revolution in the state are also planned for the future. Adjacent to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno is on Avenida Ramon Corona 31, on the corner with Morelos.
