Bottles were smashed in a heated argument that broke out when a customer claimed waiters had stolen his phones. Police arrived at the restaurant, situated on Lazaro Cardenas and Fernando de Alba, and arrested the accused waiters and the manager.
The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in Jalisco has charged the suspects with theft, cause of injury, abuse of authority and card cloning.Cloning machines are small enough to be easily hidden behind a till, so when paying, customers are advised to ask staff to bring the card reader to their table.
