January 30, 8 p.m., at the intersection of Enrique Diaz de Leon and Washington in Guadalajara, a Ruta 30 bus received a severe blow to its rear from a locomotive which, according to witnesses, backed up into the much smaller vehicle with no warning.
Between 10-15 injures were reported. Just a few minutes earlier on the Carretera Nogales in Zapopan, a train plowed into a semi truck after the vehicle’s driver decided not to cede passage to the speeding locomotive. Mercifully missing the truck’s cab, the train split the metallic trailer clean in half. No deaths or injuries were reported.
