The second annual Festival of Light kicked off with a blast of visual brilliance and sound Wednesday, February 14, the 476th anniversary of Guadalajara’s founding.
Among the buildings and monuments lit up by the event’s state-of-the-art “mapping technology” were the Teatro Degollado, Hospicio Cabañas, the cathedral and the Rotonda de Jaliscienses Ilustres.
Light show festivities continue through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. Live music and food will also be available.
