Staff from the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara participated gleefully in the city’s recent pride parade.
The colorful consular contingent was greeted warmly by parade spectators.
A press statement from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared: “The United States joins people around the world in celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Pride Month, and reaffirms its commitment to protecting and defending the human rights of all, including LGBTI persons.”
