In the wake of the recent murders of various police officers, civic organizations and police officers wearing civilian clothes marched from the Minerva Fountain to the governor’s residence to present Jalisco’s chief executive with several petitions.
Their demands included the setting up of a multidisciplinary panel to find solutions to the growing crime wave in the state, as well as improved life insurance for police officers.
