Fees have been established for Guadalajara’s new planetarium (Lunaria), feted as one of the most modern of its kind on the American continent.
The Wednesday to Sunday entrance charge will be 80 pesos, which includes access to both the interactive exhibit pavilion and projection dome.
The dome will have four presentations each day, at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The capacity for each sitting is 150 persons. The pavilion will admit 80 visitors every hour, with the last entry time at 4 p.m.
Entry to the Lunaria will be free on Tuesdays, while the facility will close on Mondays.
For a lesser fee of 50 pesos, patrons can choose to visit either the exhibit pavilion or the dome. Children and youths aged from 3 to 17 pay 15 pesos, and may visit both areas. Children under three are not admitted. Parking is available at a cost of 15 pesos an hour.
The Lunaria opens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at Carlos Pereira 790, in Colonia Miraflores, a couple of blocks from the Glorieta La Normal.
