The fifth Festival de Hongos (Mushroom Festival) runs next weekend at the Jardin Americana cultural center on Avenida Vallarta.
Expect to find dozens of stalls exhibiting various types of mushrooms and other vegetarian products, as well as plenty of food and drink options, as well as entertainment.
One of the co-sponsors this year is Santa Sabina Cerveza Artesanal, a local craft beer firm that uses mushrooms in some of its varieties of ale.
The fair is open daily from 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. Jardin Americana is located at Avenida Vallarta 1305, between Colonias and Emerson.
