A Recycling Tianguis is being organized to raise funds for Una Sonrisa al Dolor, a Guadalajara-based charity that supports people suffering from chromic rheumatic diseases.
People with materials for recycling can take them to the DIF Guadalajara headquarters on Saturday, July 27, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., where they will be sorted and sold to professional recyclers to raise money. Materials accepted include paper, cardboard, glass, metal, newspapers, electronic items and cellphones.
DIF Guadalajara is on Calle Eulogio Parra, at the corner of Avenida Lopez Mateos.
