Where can you see Spanish, Aztecan and Appaloosa horses, Beefmaster, Angus Black and White cows and Black Belly, Dorpa and Boer breeds of sheep, pig and goat – all in one place?
The answer is the 55th Expo Ganadera Jalisco, considered one of Mexico’s best livestock fairs, which runs Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, November 3 in Tlaquepaque.
Regular visitors to the fair will notice some changes this year. Extensive renovations have been made to the exposition area, where visitors can see displays of western wear, tack, ranch and farming machinery and equipment, as well as many other countryside-related items.
Visitors will also notice changes to the food and refreshment zone, which this year has expanded to 21 tasty selections.
