Traffic flow on a busy section of the Guadalajara beltway will be disrupted over the coming weeks as the BRT “Mi Macro Periférico” project gathers steam.
The construction of 41 bus stations is continuing on the stretch between Avenida Vallarta (highway to Nogales) and Avenida Acueducto, the Jalisco Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Works (SIOP) announced.
The “Mi Macro Periférico” project will see the entire central divider of the 41.5-kilometer Guadalajara ring road converted into a bus lane, with 80 gas or electric-powered buses servicing the route.
