Guadalajara’s largest cultural space, the Auditorio Telmex, is reopening next month with a performance by singer Luis Ángel Franco “El Flaco,” a former member of the well-know Mazatlan ranchera group Banda Los Recoditos, on July 16.
The auditorium’s director, Fernando Favela, said the space, which can hold up to 8,000 people, will be limited to 50-percent capacity, as determined by the Jalisco Health Department’s protocols, unless a change is made in the meantime. A schedule of further concerts and shows at the venue will be announced on Friday, June 11, Favela said.
