Non-stop to Orlando

Frontier Airlines has launched a new non-stop flight between Orlando, Florida and Guadalajara, operating twice weekly.

Flights will leave Orlando on Sundays and Thursdays at 2:38 p.m., landing in Guadalajara at 5:38 p.m. The return journey leaves the Guadalajara Airport at 6:49 p.m., getting into Orlando at 11:40 p.m. Frontier’s only other flight from Guadalajara goes to Las Vegas.  The new route increases the number of non-stop flights between Jalisco and the United States to 32.

Mexico City to Rome

Aeromexico will start non-stop flights from Mexico City to Rome, Italy as of March 25, 2023. The service will begin with three weekly flights, increasing to five by the summer of next year. The airline also announced that it will be resuming non-stop flights to Tokyo, Japan after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Airbnb deaths

Three U.S. citizens died in an airbnb they were renting in Mexico City in what appears to be a case of carbon monoxide poisoning. The three victims were all in their 20s; two were from Virginia Beach and one from New Orleans.
