Two buses crashed into each other last Saturday morning at a minor intersection in Guadalajara’s centro historico, leaving 33 people injured.  No fatalities were reported.

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the left-wing anti-corruption crusader who has run for president of Mexico twice previously, ended his third run’s “pre-campaign” with a rally in Guadalajara last Sunday.

Eduardo Torres, a  25-year-old Uber driver, was shot dead in Tlajomulco, Monday, his death occurring just moments after co-workers received communications from the man in which he expressed anxiety about the passengers he had picked up in the Puerta de Hierro neighborhood of Zapopan.
