State governor attends Paris climate conference

Jalisco Governor Aristoteles Sandoval has highlighted his administration’s efforts to thwart deforestation and environmental deterioration in this state at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21).


Downtown street vendors allege police abuse

The standoff between ousted street vendors and Guadalajara city hall shows no sign of easing up. Earlier this week, several vendors claiming they were hurt in scuffles with municipal police officers on December 4 filed complaints of abuse with the State Human Rights Commission.

Foreign Relations office moves to Plaza Bonita
