Tequila Film Studio selected locations in downtown Chapala to shoot a new commercial entitled Cochinito (piggybank) for the drink mix product Frutimax.
The 40-second spot, shot on April 24 and 25, features a half-dozen child actors in the cast. Settings included the façade of Mi Pullman, the historic home of renowned architect Guillermo de Alba on Calle Aquiles Serdan, and a liquor store located across the street from the city hall building that was dressed up to look like a typical neighborhood store.
