Wrestlers Great Eku and Egipcio Junior muscled in on Chapala First Lady Marisela Navarro to promote the lucha libre spectacle scheduled Saturday, June 15, 7 p.m., as a fund-raising event to support DIF social assistance programs for local families.
It will close out Chapala DIF’s anti-bullying awareness program taking place next week at local schools.
The city plans to open boxing and wrestling training programs to channel youngsters toward contact sports as a healthy alternative to street gang violence.
The lucha libre show will be held at the Municipal Coliseum located on Avenida Madero next door to the city’s main soccer field. Admission is set at 60 pesos for adults, half price for kids.
