The Lake Chapala Society (LCS) in Ajijic will throw a big Mexico-themed shindig on Saturday, January 31, 2:30 to 7 p.m., as the principal 2015 fundraiser for its community education programs.
Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary margarita cocktail, followed by a sumptuous Mexican-flavored dinner buffet offering appetizers, entrees and desserts, catered by Santo Coyote from Guadalajara.
The entertainment bill includes a ballet folklórico show, live mariachi tunes, music for dancing and a fashion show featuring clothing by one of Mexico’s top designers. Golf packages, dinners, artworks and other enticing items will be up for bid in a silent auction. Tickets priced at 400 pesos per person may be purchased at the LCS grounds and Cugini’s, Morelos 15.
