Local students learn about AIDS/HIV issues

One of the goals of Ajijic Cares, founded at Lakeside three years ago, is to provide education for young people on AIDS and HIV.

To help achieve this, Ajijic Cares is working with Vihas de Vida, a Guadalajara-based support group that imparts workshops at schools and neighborhood demonstrations on this health risk and its prevention.

In the above photo, the group conducts a workshop last week for students at the Loyola Institute in Ajijic.
