Roadside food stands relocate

Under a do-or-die ultimatum issued by the Chapala government, the popular roadside food stands set off the highway at the west end of San Antonio Tlayacapan were relocated at the end of last month.

Pollos Don David, better known to expat customers as Dusty Chicken, has moved its charcoal grill and outdoor dining tents to a new spot opposite the Pemex station near the south end of the Libramiento bypass. A second outlet is opening in the center of San Antonio, near the village church at Ramón Corona 131.

New addresses for the Michoacana agua refresca stall and an adjacent seafood cocktail stand are unknown.
