Lakeside’s 40th annual Chili Cookoff fires up Friday, February 23, running through Sunday, February 25 at the Tobolandia Water Park located on the Chapala-Ajijic highway just west of the Libramiento junction.
Gates open daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the grounds of this giant charity happening is 50 pesos, with free entry to kids under age 12. The charge for secure on-site parking is 30 pesos more.
