Fleets of small vessels will leave port at Chapala’s Club de Yates this weekend as the Copa Porche regatta kicks off the first segment of Sailing Week Mexico 2018.
Weather conditions permitting, sailors will cast off around 9 a.m. Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25 to test their mettle in six different competitive categories.
The second and larger leg of the international event is the Wesmex championship, running March 2-4 at the Vallarta Club de Yates in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit.
