The lakeside branch of the Jalisco College of Architects will host a candidates’ forum – open to the public, regardless of nationality – on matters related to urban development and planning scheduled for Monday, June 18, 6:15 p.m., at the association office, Calle Los Angeles 63 at the corner of San Diego in Riberas del Pilar.
Each of Chapala’s mayoral candidates in attendance will be allotted 15 minutes to speak in turn about their respective policy platforms on the topic.
Mayor Gerardo Degollado has declined the invitation, citing previous campaign commitments on that date. The six other contenders are expected to appear.
The session will close with a 15-minute question-and-answer period open for audience participation. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
