Juan Ramón Álvarez López (left) was named to maintain his post as director of Chapala’s Preparatoria Regional for the 2019-2022 term.
The high-school level institution operates under the umbrella of the University of Guadalajara Sistema de Educación Media Superior (SEMS).
Following the swearing-in ceremony Friday, May 24, Álvarez guided SEMS General Director César Antonio Barba Delgadillo (right) on a tour of the campus. The university has earmarked 250,000 pesos in its 2019 budget for improvements to the Prepa’s infrastructure.
