Inhabitants of lakeshore communities have become increasingly fearful about public security matters due to an alarming rise in missing persons reports in the area.
According to accounts circulated through social media and the local grapevine, since late November at least 11 local men have suddenly vanished without a trace. Most of these individuals are young men under age 30. However, several cases involve older fathers who disappeared together with their sons.
