Ajijic celebrated a Farewell to the Flesh last Tuesday with the traditional no-holds-barred Desfile de Carnaval.
The lively parade snaked through the town for more than two hours as platoons of Sayaco dancers and a string of colorful floats prompted revelers to whoop it up, joining in a traditional festive flurry of baking flour and confetti.
