Adventures on a flying bus

I recently flew to the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, with the Mexican discount airline Viva Aerobus.  “What will it be like to travel on a flying bus?” I had wondered.

I certainly didn’t expect frills, so it was no surprise when their website informed me: “You MUST print your boarding pass yourself. If you don’t, you’ll have to show up at our check-in counter two hours early, stand in line, and then we will be delighted to charge you 200 pesos to print it for you.”

None of that sounded good, so I pressed the red “PRINT YOUR BOARDING PASS” button only to be informed, “First you must select your seat.”

After that, I spent half an hour trying to choose my seat. How to do this apparently required video-gaming skills which I don’t possess, because, after picking my seat again and again I would push the red button and “First select your seat!” would pop back up.
