In the interest of ensuring that the entire population of the lakeside area is counted in the 2020 national census, the Lake Chapala Society hosted an information meeting for English-speaking residents Tuesday, February 25.
Personnel from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), who will conduct the local population survey, were invited to give a presentation on the Censo Nacional, to be carried out simultaneously in all areas of the community March 2 through 27.
