Permits to reopen outlets for clothing, shoes, cosmetics and furniture are also in high demand, according to Paola Gómez Valencia, director of Chapala’s Human Development office that, along with the Department of Economic Promotion, is providing advice and assistance to business operators who are enrolling in the Fase Cero system.

“It has been difficult for all entrepreneurs who have being paying employees and benefits after being forced to close two months ago, but we’re very happy to have received the permit and sticker to open again next Monday,” commented Yolanda Martínez Llamas, owner of Yoli’s Unisex Salon at Ajijic’s Plaza Bugambilias.
