Man shot by motorcycle bandits

Cruz Roja paramedics gave first aid attention to a Chapala businessman after he was shot in the knee while resisting an armed robbery reported just before noon Wednesday, March 16.

The victim was transferred to a Guadalajara hospital for treatment. He told police he was getting out of his truck in Riberas del Pilar when he was assaulted by two men riding on a green motorcycle, who pulled up beside him and told him to hand over his possessions.
