A statewide ballroom dance competition will take place in Ocotlan on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The organizer and primary teacher of most of the competitors is Alex Ortiz, a native of Ocotlan and professional dancer, choreographer and teacher who owns a dance studio in Ocotlan, teaches in Ajijic on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and in Guadalajara on Saturdays. The contest is being held at Cancha Yakult, Justo Sierra 195, Ocotlan.
