The private company holding the concession on trash collection on behalf of the Chapala government appears to be resuming regular service after faltering over the past week due to the breakdown of half of its fleet of six garbage trucks.
The city’s Public Sanitation crew was dispatched to pick up the slack as heaps of waste piled up on local streets.
