of pupils dressed up as revolution war heroes, rebel fighters and camp followers. The youngest school kids often ride on motorized floats, while older ones march or dance on foot. Some groups stop along the way to perform rhythmic exercises and athletic routines.

The Chapala parade makes a full loop along Avenida Madero.  The Ajijic route runs from the east end of Calle Constitución-Ocampo, turning back to the plaza at Seis Esquinas via Hidalgo.
