Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend in Mexico

To our readers who still rely on timepieces such as grandfather clocks, silver-plated pocket watches with chains, or Velcro’d Casio wrist watches, be prepared to set them back an hour this Sunday, October 29, 2 a.m.

It is advised you do so on the preceding Saturday before your head hits the pillow.   If you’re under the impression that another week remained before you are obliged to partake in this custom, note that in Mexico “fall back” happens in the last week of October, while in Canada and the United States it occurs the first Sunday in November.  Europe is in sync with Mexico, however.
