Mexico’s President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador is getting a head-start on the launch of sweeping social assistance programs with a nationwide census of needy Mexican families.
Authorized head-counters (left to right) Eulalia González García, David Velázquez Sanabria and María de los Angeles Sanabria Ramos are assigned to carry out the door-to-door canvas of Chapala households to identify the senior citizens, disabled people, students and unemployed youth who may qualify for aid.
