T-MEC to replace TLCAN?

The public’s favored acronym to replace TLCAN (the Mexican equivalent of NAFTA) is T-MEC, short for Tratado Mexico-Estados Unidos-Canada, according to a recent survey carried out on behalf of President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

President Donald Trump has already baptized the new trilateral trade agreement USMCA (United States Mexico Canada Agreement), literally putting the United States first, in line with his policy ideology.  T-MEC does the same, but from a Mexican perspective.  Canada has yet to express an opinion on the issue.
