Hit TV show actors launch ‘2 Men’ mezcal

That iconic duo from the hit TV show “Breaking Bad,” actors Bryan Cranston (Walter White) and Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman), have teamed up to launch a new mezcal under the brand name Dos Hombres.

pg3aIn a recent Instagram post, the pair said they got the idea three years ago while at a sushi bar in New York. They later took a research trip together to Oaxaca, which prompted gossip magazines to speculate that a spin-off from “Breaking Bad” was in the cards.

What they were really looking for, the pair said in their post, was “real, artesanal mezcal made by hand.”

After looking “high and low” and meeting “incredible people along the way,” the two actors found the agave they were searching for.

“It was on a dirt-road, in a tiny village, hours away from the center of town and it was perfect. Holy sh*t, it was perfect. We looked at each other and just simply nodded. This is it. We named it Dos Hombres – two guys on a quest.”

The actors say their mezcal is a unique blend of the finest Espadin agave with notes of “apples, mango, local fruits, wood and smooth smoke.”

Dos Hombres can be purchased online and at some stores in the United States and Mexico at a cost of 1,100 pesos a bottle.
