Mexico won’t miss out on Covid-19 vaccines, foreign minister insists

Mexico is one of 75 nations that have submitted expressions of interest to protect their populations and those of other nations through joining the COVAX Facility, a mechanism designed to guarantee rapid, fair and equitable access to Covid-19 vaccines worldwide.

Ebrard was optimistic about the possibility of having a vaccine this year but stressed that everything depends on the “multilateral effort to accelerate the development, production and fair distribution of the vaccine.”
