LaDonna Farrar

Ajijic resident LaDonna Farrar passed away May 12 at a hospital in Guadalajara at the age of 74.

Born February 16, 1938 in DeWitt, Arkansa, Farrar grew up in Southern California. In 1960, she moved to Seattle, Washington,  where she worked for the U.S. government and in real estate for several years.

She married Bill Farrar in 1972. The Farrars moved to Lakeside in 1991 from their home in Chelan, Washington. They settled first in the Las Fuentes subdivision and moved to Ajijic in 2006.

Farrar worked in real estate sales in the Lakeside area and at the time of her death was the office manager and broker for Continental Real Estate. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Lakeside Duplicate Bridge Club.

She is survived by her husband Bill Farrar of Ajijic, a daughter, Ginger Banks of Phoenix, Arizona, and two sons, Dan Inman of Maryland and Steve Inman of Phoenix, Arizona.

Farrar had six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

According to her wishes, no memorial service has been planned.
