John Miligan died of a heart attack on July 3 in Ajijic at the age of 78.
Miligan was born in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma University. He was a champion roller skater and judged national and international roller skating competitions through 1998.
An avid bridge instructor and player, Miligan spread his ability and delight in playing at the Manix Monday game, American Legion Post 7 in Chapala and the Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club.
Miligan moved to Lakeside in 1997. He was predeceased by his long-time companion, Rick Connell.
He will be missed by many.
