Obituary - April 05, 2025

Pauline Forrester

Pauline Forrester  passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 1, surrounded by loved ones in San Juan Cosala, where she spent her last years.

Pauline’s life was marked by remarkable resilience and dedication. Born on March 10, 1925 in London, England, as a young woman, she served her country during World War II, courageously contributing to the war effort. It was during her service in India that she met the love of her life, Larry Forrester, creating a bond that would endure for decades. Together, they built a life full of love, adventure and accomplishment. Throughout their marriage, Pauline supported Larry in his career as a writer, standing by him as he created books, TV shows and Hollywood movies. Her unwavering strength, intelligence and compassion were the bedrock upon which their shared success was built. Pauline retired to the Lakeside community 38 years ago.

Pauline¨s, warm heart, wit, generosity and zest for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She cherished her family, friends and community, and her legacy will live on in the lives she touched. For Pauline´s recent 100th birthday celebration, she insisted on buying a new outfit that she could wear again!

Pauline is survived by her two children, Gregg and Georgina, and her grandchildren, Eva, Jessica, Elsa, Ian and Alec, who will forever remember her as a woman of great beauty, courage, love and grace.

The family extend their heartfelt thanks to Fernanda, Abraham and the nursing staff at Colibri Blue Senior Residence in San Juan Cosala, for their wonderful, loving care and for creating a happy home away from home for Pauline.

For friends who would like to honour Pauline’s memory, in lieu of flowers,  please make a token donation to your favorite local charity.
