Almost two years after Hurricane Jova devastated the Jalisco coastline, the State Congress finance commission has finally approved a credit of nearly 300 million pesos to help repair the damaged communities.
The 299.8 million pesos will benefit 37 municipalities hit by Jova in October 2011, with the federal government covering the loan and the state government only paying the interest.
