Representatives of the Puerto Vallarta tourist board traveled to Guadalajara and Leon on Sunday and Monday to promote the Pacific Coast resort.
A chef, a fisherman, an explorer and two girls dressed in traditional local attire accompanied the delegation, with the aim of highlighting the diversity of attractions on offer in Vallarta, including the wonderful local cuisine, exciting water sports and adventurous mountain and jungle tours.
The lively group paraded down the main avenues of the two cities, shouting the slogan, “Puerto Vallarta is coming for you” and encouraging Twitter users to get involved using the hashtag #ElPuertoMasMexicano.
