Tourism infrastructure ramps up in Costalegre

Jalisco Tourism Secretary Enrique Ramos Flores has announced a 1.75-billion dollar in investment by 32 developers in 14 projects along the Costalegre.

The Asociación de Empresarios de la Costaalegre presented a series of projects to Governor Aristoteles Sandoval Diaz and his cabinet Monday, including golf courses, marinas and real estate development to begin construction during the next four years. Some of these projects have been in development since 2012. Ramos said a new 400-volt power line will run from Manzanillo to Puerto Vallarta to satisfy pent up demand for power and ensure that these development needs are met.
