The body of a 57-year-old U.S. citizen has been found outside his home in Puerto Vallarta’s Colonia El Cerro.
Identified only as John Lennox Douglas from Florida, the man’s hands and feet had been bound with a cable and an article of clothing stuffed in his mouth.
Police said several items, including a television set, were missing from his house. Neighbors told Vallarta reporters that Douglas had been seen the night before drinking in the street with friends. They said he had lived in the port for several years.
