After a successful recent event in Ajijic, the United States Consulate General in Guadalajara will be hosting an information fair for expats in the Puerto Vallarta area next week.
In conjunction with the Canadian Consulate and local Mexican authorities, the fair will be held at the Salón Paradise, next to Hospital San Javier Nuevo, across from the Hard Rock Hotel in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit on Friday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The U.S. Consulate will set up various stands providing information on the different services the mission provides to U.S. expats and visitors. Also present will be consular representatives from American Citizen Services (ACS), Federal Benefit Unit (FBU), Regional Security Office (RSO) and Public Affairs Section (PAS).
As well as municipal officials from both Jalisco and Nayarit, invitations have been extended to various Mexican government agencies, including the National Migration Institute (INAMI), Tax Department (SAT), Protección Civil, Family Development Agency (DIF), Police and Transit Departments and Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
There will be free parking at the event.
